Judges Comments
Clay : It's a good design concept, with well organized shapes and lines. A litle restraint with the stone paint would have been better. Too much of one kind of surface treatment diminishes its impact.
Jacques : Interesting concept with lots of possibilities and room for growth in many directions. The texture paint makes it seem like something is being hidden or a just a short cut. Explore other methods to achive a surface that compliments the form... good lines in form.
John : I don't think the paint and wood complement well. I like the idea of supporting the vessel. This has been done in many ways, some similar to your's.
